Our Philosophy

At Los Alcázares Digital Camera Club (LADCC) we believe that photography is not just about capturing a moment, but about telling a story. We strive to create images that evoke emotion and capture the essence of our subjects.

Our Aim

It's all about collaboration, sharing our combined skills to ensure that aspiring photographers at any level of their journey can grow and develop their skills.

Our Story

Formed in 2006 by a group of keen amateurs with a shared interest in photography, we have steadily grown our membership, welcoming anyone who wants to improve their skills and share their experience with like-minded enthusiasts. We continue to evolve, now embracing mobile phone and tablet photography.

Our Meetings

We host our competitions and workshops on the first Tuesday morning of each month at the Las Claras Community Centre in Los Narejos, Murcia, Spain, and arrange our monthly field visits around member availability. Our monthly competitions are set to challenge and stretch our skills, with images judged for technique and artistic impression by other members.

For us it's not all about the winning, it's the participating and learning opportunity.
